Prof. Joe and Coach Rob teach police officers the most effective, safest techniques that will help them in their field of work. The self-defense techniques we teach make you street ready. Grand Master Helio Gracie has created the most well known, proven system to empower our law enforcement. Having graduated and succesfully completing all training Prof. Joe and Coach Rob are eager to put all the tools they have learned into the hands and minds of all law enforcement.

Our classes are structured for learning the moves all while having fun. Kids who decide to compete can do so with our competition team! Our kids program will develop your child’s confidence, discipline, self-image, and teach them how to protect themselves while developing good character. They will learn to handle bullies, peer pressure, and adversity. BJJ is a competitive Martial Art which focuses on dominant positions and submissions (chokes and joint locks). In class you can expect a warm up followed by a takedown technique (Judo/Wrestling) and drilling of 2-3 positions/submissions on the ground. After drilling there are timed sessions of live training where students can test and practice the techniques they learn in class.

Age 3-5 Have a super active child that needs to burn off energy? Have a timid child that needs a boost in confidence? Our class is perfect for them! Coach Joe helps bring out the best in each child! This class teaches body awareness and introduces them to basic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu moves. Coach Joe helps kids build self-esteem, self-confidence, and learn important social skills. His goal is to make each child mentally tough and physically strong. Coach Joe is a black belt and head coach of Fit Club's Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. He continues to compete in IBJJF and also coaches our Kids Competition team.

Little Ninjas Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Classes for ages 5 to high school - Come learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the best coach around! Coach Joe is passionate about teaching this martial art. Prof. Dante started training at age 11, in Brooklyn, NY at the park slope academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. At the age of 18 Dante moved to Westchester to pursue his love for competing and teaching Jiu Jitsu. Receiving his Black Belt under JT Torres. Presently residing in CT Dante upholds the standard of World Class competitive nature and World Class instruction here at FitClubBjj.  Major Accolades:  Brasileiro No Gi Bronze Medalist (Black) Pan Am No Gi Champion & Bronze Medalist(Blue/Purple/Brown) No Gi World Champion (Blue) Pan American Bronze Medalist (Purple) Europeans Bronze Medalist(Blue) Asian Open Bronze Medalist(Blue/Purple) Multiple Time IBJJF Champion(All Belts)

Coach Rob is a police officer with over 19 years experience. He is a Gracie Survival Tactics Use of force instructor for his department and the surrounding agencies. He is also certified to teach jujitsu through Gracie University in Torrance California. Rob is currently a Bjj brown belt. He teaches our Little Ninjas program and specializes in applying fundamental jujitsu for real-life self-defense situations. Come in today and try one of his classes here at Fit Club.
